Apple iPhone SE Launch Event Fails To Cause A Stir

Apple’s ‘Let us Loop you in event,’ which will take place tonight at 10:30 pm (as per IST), will witness the launch of the iPhone SE. But surprisingly this event isn’t causing a big stir about the company’s much-awaited device, an AP report revealed.

Comparing today’s event to similar gatherings that have taken place in the past, Brian Blau, Gartner tech analyst, told AP, “There’s been a lot less noise” around Monday’s event. He further added, “Apple is such a secretive company. They do keep things under wraps as long as possible.”

During the event that will take place at Apple’s Silicon Valley headquarters, the company’s CEO Tim Cook is expected to introduce some new products to expand its lineage of iPhone and iPad devices.

While Apple has been quiet about its plans, it’s rumor mill which is providing us constant hints about what this device might look like.

An earlier video shared by YouTube channel Nick Beeep showcased that iPhone SE handset was spotted at Huaqiangbei Shenzhen, which is known as the ‘silicon valley of hardware’ in China. If we believe the rumour, the 4-inch iPhone looks like the iPhone 5S as well as the iPhone 6S in terms of the size and design elements. It has rounded edges for smoother touch and this shade of the Rose Gold is brighter than what we see on the iPhone 6S. As far as what we were told about the camera is that it has protruding rear camera which resembles iPhone 6S video.

If we believe the report, the latest offering by Apple is targeting the customers who haven’t yet upgraded to the larger iPhone 6 devices.

So let’s reserve the final verdict till Apple iPhone SE is unveiled during the much-anticipated event tonight. Stay tuned!
